Seven golfers made their way to Azusa Greens Country Club on a cool but sunny February 20, 2011. Round One of the QZo Cup was the occasion and all seven "hackers" seemed to have a good time. The course was very nice to Round One winner, Darren Dunaway. Big "D" shot an 84, which earned him 250 points towards the Cup, as well as a $25 Gift Card to Chili's. Other gift card winners were: Steve Gomez (highest score - 100) and Sergio Gutierrez III (random drawing - 91).
It's not too late to join the fun. Round Two will take place on Sunday, May 22, 2011, at San Dimas Canyon Golf Club. The first group will tee off at 11:00 am and fees are $60. Fees include: green fees, golf cart (with GPS), awards and a scholarship donation to a graduating senior from the Bonita High School Baseball team. Round Two fees are due to Steve by Monday, May 9, 2011.

Welcome to the "revised" QZo Cup 2011!!
For years now, many of us have talked about scheduling a standing tee time. Due to our busy lives, we've never followed through with it...until now. The QZo Cup is a four round golf tournament. The tournament will bring us together play golf, socialize and raise funds/donations for a very worthy cause. All funds raised will go towards a scholarship for a graduating senior baseball player from Bonita High School, in memory of Joey San Nicolas.
Three rounds will be played at Azusa Greens Country Club. A fourth round will be held at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. Approximate tee times are 8:30 a.m. (Azusa Greens) and 11:00 a.m. (San Dimas Canyon). Each round, prizes will be awarded to- first place($25 gift card), highest score ($10 gift card) and a random golfer name draw ($20 gift card) . A point system will be used for each round, with points totaled after the final round in October, to crown the "Cup" winner. So, the more Rounds you play in, the more points you can earn towards wining the Cup.
